picking out an outfit
We usually put out clothes the night before so in the morning the girls know what they are going to wear and there is no fuse....yesterday I forgot to put out their clothes. So both girls were able to pick out their own outfit and get dressed....20 min later Emilee is still not dressed.... she went into her closet and took out all outfits and spread them all around her room. Emilee said she wanted to look at all her outfits to see which one she wanted to wear for that day! She is totally girl!

Long time no Post...
We have had a busy summer, school starts for the girls tomorrow and I start again on Monday with 17 credit hours. I think this school year will be the hardest one yet.. I am hoping I am wrong.
Rick is hanging in there, working hard at home and at his "real" job.
Both girls are excited for school to start again, I am not. I would like some more time with them. I had a list of things I wanted to do this summer with them and I feel like I only got half of them done.
I will try to be better at keeping this up this year.

An Angel?
Friday night we went to a Thunder hockey game with some friends, but before the game we stopped at Spangles for dinner. I think maybe my girls may have ate there once before....not very often at all. Anyways when you walk into Spangles there is a Marlyn Monroe statue in all famous pose with her in the white dress. As my family and I are walking into Spangles and the first thing you see is the statue of Marlyn Monroe and my little sweet Emilee says "mom look, an Angel!" As she points to Marlyn Monroe!!! Rick and I just started to laugh.

School Life running along with motherhood
Most of you know I went back to school full time to finish my teaching degree. I am getting pretty good grades all A's and one B (Biology). Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed with all the school work, house work, and I feel like I am not spending enough time with my girls. As I seat here typing this I am looking at about 15 pages of bio that I should be doing and a couple loads of laundry which need to be folded and put away, and then my girls are running around the house wanting me to play with them!!! Please pray that God will give me strength and the energy to be the mom and wife I need to be.

Abbygale and her dance moves!!!
Abby is so into Hannah Montana, it funny because she really has never watched the TV show. Just recently I did rent Abby the Hannah Montana movie at the Red Box. She loved it! Abby watched it so much I think I now have it memorized! Yesterday I down loaded some of Hannah's music her Abby. This is her dancing to the famous Hannah Montana. I think Abbygale is so cute, I love watching her dance!
Abbygale wnts to have a Hannah Montana birthday party... how am I going to pull of a Hannah Montana Party? If anyone has any ideas let me know!

The Laing Gang Family Pictures
My husband in his KC Chiefs PJ's the girls got him the new slippers so he had
to go put on all his KC clothes!!!
Even though the Chiefs have not do so good this year he still
It was lovely!
Rick and I enjoyed the company of all the girls for Christmas!
It was nice having us all together for Christmas.
I wish they all could have spent more time with their Dad, but they are older and I guess hagging out with their Dad and "step mom" isn't all that fun. Even though Rick would have liked it. The brunch was nice though, all the girls seemed to have a good time and must have loved the food because they were hardly any left overs!!!!
