Yesterday I went with Emilee Grace's EC class to the Fire Station. This turned out to be fun for even me! Emilee only has four kids in her class, two boys and two girls. At first Emilee didn't really want to go into the fire trucks, she just wanted to stand by me. Eventually she started to adventure into the trucks. Than the Officer showed the kids the grass truck ( the one that puts out the grass fires) This one was pretty neat because each kid got their own turn to use the water hose. Turned it on and sprayed & sprayed. One of Emilee's teacher always has a camera in her hands, with this group it so funny to take their pictures!!! Emilee just smiles and smiles!!
Emilee still standing by me not wanted to leave my sight, the fireman starts explaining what to when you smell smoke...As he is talking the other little girls says " I SMELL SMOKE!" (she is only four) and than she smiles...like ha I got ya!! During this time Robin Is taking tons of pictures the boys are loving it and the girls like it but I think they liked the Officer best. He is still talking about the outfit he has to wear in a fire and why. While he is talking... my shy little Emilee claims up were he was sitting and go behind him and starts hugging him. aaahh it was so cute!!! I think the Officer had a terrific time showing the fire station off to Emilee's class!!!
It was a fun afternoon!
